What, When, Where?

This is an event taking place April 10, 2010 in Chattanooga, TN at Coolidge Park. The purpose of this movement is to raise awareness, funds, and support for children in Uganda. This Movement is Chattanooga's answer to the call of a drastic need to do something for the many unseen and neglected children in Uganda. It is an awakening to the situation in Uganda and an actual way in which Chattanooga can do something about- how Chattanooga can affect the longest running war in Africa's history.

Sunday April 10

Sunday all day event- Coolidge Park- Begins at 11 am-  featuring: 5k race, walk-a-thon, village walkthrough, live music, arts and crafts, games, food, merchandise, and a chance to make a difference. (Click here to view Event Schedule)

This goal of this event is to raise awareness, funds, and support to benefit children in Uganda through the Invisible Children non-profit organization.

Unite for Uganda

This event is organized and put on by students of Southern Adventist University, Collegedale Academy, UTC, Lee University, Covenant College and many other students, volunteers, community members, local businesses, and advocates for Uganda. This event is a growing collaboration of willing citizens in the area- uniting for a common purpose: to provide children in Uganda with a better life and hope for a better tomorrow- for the people and their country.
